Financial Pulse is a free feature in the Beforepay app that gives you a picture of how your money is moving, across five areas called vitals, based on 90 days of activity in your connected bank accounts. It's here to help you understand your own money, not to assess or judge it, and it has no bearing on your eligibility or borrowing with Beforepay.
Financial Pulse is a free feature in the Beforepay app that gives you a clear picture of how your money is moving, built from the last 90 days of activity in your connected bank accounts.
It looks at five vitals:
Spending pace — how your spending is spread across your income cycle
Cash buffer — how your available balance compares to your usual expenses
Income steadiness — how consistently money is coming in
Short-term debt — how much of your short-term borrowing is outstanding
Bounce-back — how quickly your balance recovers after a large expense
Together, these five vitals build your overall Financial Pulse, which reads somewhere between Starting, Building, Steady, Strong and Excellent. It's not a pass or fail, and it's not a score to hit. Financial Pulse is just an honest snapshot of where things stand right now with your money, based on what we've detected, and it'll shift as your money does.
Disclaimer: Financial Pulse provides general information to help you understand patterns in your connected accounts. It isn’t a credit score, an affordability assessment or a recommendation about a financial or credit product.
Your Financial Pulse result isn’t used to decide your eligibility, limit or pricing with Beforepay.
Does Financial Pulse affect my eligibility or borrowing with Beforepay?

How do I see my Financial Pulse?
You'll need an active bank connection, since Financial Pulse is based on activity detected in the bank accounts you connect. You can find your Financial Pulse once you're logged in on the website or in the app. You'll need to tap to run it each time, as it doesn't update automatically. You can run your Financial Pulse once every 24 hours.
