Responsible Spending

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We created Beforepay to help give you greater control over your finances, allowing you to easily access your pay if you have unexpected expenses.

We know life can sometimes throw financial curveballs, which is why we provide features designed to support you, including the ability to access extra funds in minutes.

We have also developed our below Pay Advance criteria to ensure we’re looking after the financial wellbeing of our entire community.

TRANSPARENT PRICING

We provide clear pricing upfront, with no late fees, admin charges, or hidden costs. What you see is what you pay.

CRITERIA

For the Pay Advance, individuals must earn more than $300 per week after tax, must be over 18 years old and an Australian resident.

RESPONSIBLE SPENDING

We offer a minimum cash limit of $50 and a maximum of $2,000. Individuals are assessed based on their spending behaviour and pay cycle, then given a bespoke spending limit based on this assessment. A limit can gradually increase over time based on repayment history. Members must repay each individual amount in full, prior to using Pay Advance and cashing out again—helping to ensure our customers are in full control of their repayments

FLEXIBILITY

Repayments are aligned to our members' pay cycles to help with budgeting for future expenses. Members have the option of flexible repayments, where payments in some cases can be delayed free of charge, or early repayments. With the Pay Advance, repayments can be spread out across up to 4 instalments, as long as the full repayment is made within 62 days from the cash out date.

Cashing out with Beforepay doesn’t impact a member’s credit score.
